Vfr Ltd, Dubai (Last Employment)

We are based at 12/29, Sai Nagar 2nd Street in the Jawahar Nagar area of Chennai. The post office is nearby so we get our mail fairly quickly. Our name mentions Dubai because that was where the last employment happened, but these days the work is handled right here from this street. Chennai weather is usually hot, so we spend a lot of time under the fans in the office. The street outside is mostly residential, so it stays pretty quiet compared to the main roads. There are a few small shops around the corner where we get our coffee and snacks. The building is an older one, but it is sturdy and keeps the sun out. We have a small sign out front so people do not get lost looking for the house number. Most of the people working here have been around the neighborhood for years. We do not really do things the corporate way with lots of meetings and fancy reports. It is more about getting the tasks finished and making sure the records are kept straight. Sometimes the water man comes by with the big blue cans, and that is the most excitement we see in an afternoon. It is a very normal, practical place to work. We like being in Sai Nagar because it feels like home and the commute is not too bad for most of the staff.
