Ashoks Opticals

Ashoks Opticals has been around Vepery for quite some time now. We are located at No 81 on Perambur Barracks Road, right near the Doveton area. If you know the neighborhood, you probably know where we are. Our shop is full of frames and lenses, and we spend most of our time helping people pick out glasses that actually fit their faces. It’s a small shop, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a few families come in at the same time. We don't have any of those fancy computer displays, just regular shelves and mirrors. We do the testing and then work on the glasses in the back. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. Perambur Barracks Road is always loud with traffic and people walking by, but it’s a good place to be. We’ve seen a lot of people grow up around here, coming back for new pairs as they get older. We just do our job, fix the frames when they break, and make sure the lenses are right. It’s not a corporate chain, so it’s usually just the owner and a couple of assistants here. We try to keep the place tidy, but with all the small parts and tools, there’s usually something on the counter. It’s just a local shop doing its thing, and we like the familiar faces that drop by for adjustments or just to say hello.
