Our office is at Plot No: 6A in Guruvayurappan Nagar. That's over in Keelkattalai. It’s a decent area, mostly houses and some small shops. We do consultancy work. People come to us when they need advice on their business or some technical help. We aren't a massive outfit. It’s just a handful of us in a small rented space. We’ve got some old furniture and some computers that have seen better days. But they work fine for what we need. The neighborhood is pretty lived-in. You see the same people every morning. We don't have a fancy reception area with a secretary. Usually, someone just hears the door and gets up. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or writing up reports. It’s honest work. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and some notes tacked up. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate office. We like it that way. It’s practical. We don't waste time on things that don't matter. We just focus on the client’s problem and try to find a way to fix it. It’s what we’ve always done. Keelkattalai is a good place to be based. It’s got everything we need close by. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy.
