Nicky Neak Exports

If you go behind the Rajalaxmi Theatre in Velachery, you’ll find us. Nicky Neak Exports is located on 5th Main Road in Dhandeeswaram Nagar. It’s a pretty well-known spot around here. We’ve been operating out of this building for a while now. The space is filled with boxes and files, as you’d expect for an export business. It’s not the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time coordinating shipments and talking to people on the phone. Velachery can get very crowded, especially near the theatre, so we’ve learned to plan our day around the traffic. We aren't a big corporate outfit. We’re just a few people trying to make sure our clients get their goods on time. There’s no mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. That’s just the nature of the business. We use basic tools and don't bother with expensive software if we don't have to. It’s about being practical. We’ve made some good friends in the neighborhood over the years. People stop by to chat sometimes. We like the community feel of this part of town. It makes the long hours feel a bit shorter when you know the people around you. There is always someone working late here.
