Capelli Exports

If you find yourself in Velacherry, you might pass by Plot No. 11 in Gomathi Nagar. That is where we are. Capelli Exports is basically just a small team of us working out of this space. It’s not a big corporate office or anything like that. We have our desks and our storage and we spend most of our time getting things ready for transport. The Gomathi Nagar area has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. It gets a bit noisy during the day with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We don't really have a front desk or a lobby. People just walk in and we talk over whatever is happening that day. We handle a lot of different items and sometimes the floor gets a bit cluttered with packing materials. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it’s a bit of a scramble. We’ve had the same neighbors for a long time. The building itself is sturdy enough. We spend our hours checking labels and making sure addresses are correct. It is honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, we just stand around the main table and figure out the schedule. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
