Roxy Export

Roxy Export is located at No. 135 Vaanchinaathan Street in the Annai Indira Nagar part of Velachery. It is a residential-feeling area but we have our office set up here for the export work. The street is usually quiet compared to the main roads in Velachery, which is a nice change of pace. We have a small front area where we keep some of the packed crates before the truck picks them up. Dealing with exports means we are always looking at the calendar and the clock. If we miss a deadline, everything gets backed up for a week. The office has a few computers that are a bit slow, and the printer always seems to run out of ink at the worst time. We have a small team here. We mostly just talk about the shipments and what needs to be sent out next. Sometimes the neighbors complain if the truck blocks the road for too long, so we have to be quick with the loading. It’s a lot of physical work combined with staring at spreadsheets. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the stuff gets to where it’s supposed to go. During the monsoon, the street can get a bit flooded, so we have to be careful with the goods. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We keep going regardless.
