Creative Interior Designers

We’ve been here on Bharathiyar Street in Velachery for a good while now. It gets pretty busy outside with the traffic, but inside we’re usually busy with sketches or looking at wood samples. Most of us grew up around here so we know how the houses are built in this part of Chennai. Sometimes we're out at a site till late evening trying to get a wardrobe finished or making sure the kitchen cabinets fit right against a wall that isn't exactly straight. It’s just me and a small team. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with lights, just a workspace where we figure out how to make a room look decent. If you walk down from the main road, you'll find us easily enough. We spend a lot of time talking to carpenters and picking out laminates that don't cost too much but still look okay. It’s a lot of dusty work and sometimes the paint doesn't dry as fast as we want when it's raining. We just try to get the job done so people can move into their homes without waiting forever. There's always some sawdust on the floor here. We use simple tools and mostly just talk through what needs doing. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local spot where we deal with plywood and measurements all day long. Sometimes people just drop by to ask about a small repair or to see some samples we have lying around in the back corner.
