Our setup is at Shed No. 64 in the Sidco Industrial Estate over in Thirumaghisai. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but this industrial estate has everything we need to function. Working with resins means there’s a lot of drums and chemical containers sitting around the yard. It’s a practical space. We don’t have fancy carpets or glass walls. The floor is concrete and often has a few spills that we have to clean up. Thirumaghisai is quite a busy hub these days. You see trucks and tempos constantly moving through the Sidco gates at all hours. We have a small office tucked into one corner of the shed, but most of the action happens out on the floor. It can get quite humid here, especially during the monsoon season. We just focus on the batches we have to run. We don’t spend money on advertising or big signs. Most people who need resin know where Sidco is and can find Shed 64 eventually. Our team is just local people who know the process well. It’s a bit repetitive, checking the temperatures and the mixes, but it’s what we do. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We’re just a resin plant in a busy industrial estate. The gate squeaks a bit when you open it, but we haven't gotten around to fixing that yet.
