Vasan Weaves

Vasan Weaves is located at number 32 on Scheme Road, right near 4th Cross Street. It’s a pretty quiet street compared to the main roads around here. We’ve got a small setup where we focus on our weaving work. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the machines clicking away if you stand outside the door. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just the workspace and a small area where we keep the finished pieces. The neighborhood is mostly local houses and a few other small businesses, so it feels very grounded. We’ve lived and worked around here for years. Our team is just a few local people who know how to handle the looms. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just take the thread and make the fabric. Some days the humidity makes the yarn act up, but we’ve dealt with that enough times to know how to fix it. We aren't looking to become some massive brand. We just like making things and being part of the community on Scheme Road. If you walk down 4th Cross, you’ll probably see us taking a tea break at the corner shop sometimes. It’s a simple life and simple work at 32, Scheme Road. We’ve been here a long time and plan to stay for much longer.
