Up on the IV Floor of Lancor West Minster, you’ll find us at Vasan Eye Care Hospitals. We are located at No. 70 Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai in Mylapore. Being on the fourth floor means we get a bit of a view of the city, though we are usually too busy to look out the window. Mylapore is a busy part of town, and Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai always has cars buzzing by. We have a routine here that starts early. The elevator in Lancor West Minster is sometimes slow, so we tell people to give themselves a few extra minutes. Once people get up to our floor, it’s all about eye exams and checking prescriptions. We aren't a big, cold institution. Most of us know each other's coffee orders by heart. We deal with all sorts of eye issues every day. Some people are nervous when they come in, so we just talk to them like normal people. It’s not about being fancy or having the latest interior design. It’s about making sure someone can see better when they walk out than when they walked in. We’ve got some comfortable chairs and a lot of paperwork to stay on top of. It’s just a regular workplace where we happen to care about eyes. We’ve been in this Mylapore spot for a while and it feels like home now.
