Vasan Eye Care Hospital

Vasan Eye Care Hospital is over at No. 70 Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai. We are up on the IV Floor of the Lancor West Minster building in Mylapore. Being on the fourth floor means we are a bit removed from the noise of the street, which is nice when you are trying to focus on someone’s eye exam. Mylapore is a great part of the city, full of history and busy streets. Downstairs is always a bit chaotic with parking and people moving about, but once the elevator opens up here, it’s much calmer. We have our offices and the testing rooms all laid out. It’s a functional space. We don’t go for any of that high-end corporate decor; it’s just chairs, tables, and medical gear. The staff spends their day going from one room to the next, checking charts and talking to folks about their vision. We like to keep things relaxed. If a patient is nervous, we just chat with them about the weather or the local news. It’s a regular job for us. We show up, we do the tests, we help people understand what’s going on with their sight, and then we head home. The Lancor West Minster building is a sturdy place to work. We are just one of the offices here, doing our part for the people in Mylapore who need their eyes checked.
