Varna Gifts

We are tucked away on 53rd Street in Ashok Nagar. The shop is basically right next to the Asjaneya Temple, which is a big landmark around here. People often stop in after they finish their prayers. We have the new number 6/2 on the door now, though some old records still show it as 79/2. It’s a small place but we manage to fit a lot of gift items inside. We have things like small statues, decorative bowls, and stuff people use for ceremonies or birthdays. It’s mostly just me here, making sure things stay in order. The street can get quite busy during festival times because of the temple next door. Sometimes it’s hard for people to find a place to park their scooters when it's crowded. I like the atmosphere here, though. You get to talk to a lot of neighbors and regulars. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that, we just open the shutters and wait for people to come in. The shelves are a bit crowded, and I probably need to reorganize them again soon. It’s a lot of work keeping everything clean with the doors open to the street and all the dust blowing in from the traffic near the Ashniya Temple. We try to have a good variety so there’s something for everyone who walks through the door. If you’re near Ashok Nagar, just look for the temple and you’ll find us right there on the street.
