You can find us at JJ Manickam Manor, which is on the 4th Main Road in United India Colony. We’re over in Kodambakkam, a part of Chennai that everyone knows for the movies, but our street is actually quite tucked away. We are on the first floor in unit F-2. It’s a decent building, not too old but it has that classic Chennai apartment-turned-office feel. The walk up the stairs is short. Since we’re a training academy, we have a few rooms set up for people to sit and learn. It’s nothing like those big universities. It’s just some chairs, tables, and a whiteboard that we’ve used so much it’s starting to stain. We spend a lot of time here during the week. Kodambakkam is a busy place, and getting a spot for a bike can be a challenge on some mornings. There’s a tea shop just around the corner that we practically keep in business with all the ginger chai we buy. We like the vibe of United India Colony because it feels like a real neighborhood. You hear the sounds of the street, the birds in the morning, and the occasional vendor shouting. It’s a practical place to work and learn. We don’t have a big reception or a lobby with a fountain. It’s just a regular floor in a regular manor where we do our training sessions. Most days it is just us and the students trying to get things right.
