Smh Sons

Working out of 70 S P Residency on Rajan Kuppam Road is what we do every day. Vanagaram is a busy area, but our spot is a bit tucked away from the main noise. Smh Sons is basically just a few of us trying to keep things running smooth. We moved into this residency a while back because it was close to where most of us live, which makes the commute easy. It’s not like those big corporate buildings you see in the city center with glass walls. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make coffee, and the front room is where all the actual work happens. The kids from the neighborhood sometimes play cricket right outside the gates, which can be a bit distracting when you’re trying to focus on a deadline. My father started this business, and now we just carry it on the best we can. There is no big secret to how we work. We just show up early, deal with whatever is on the desk, and go home when the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late if there is a lot to catch up on, but we try not to make a habit of it. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. It’s a practical space for us. We know the neighbors and the guy who runs the small store down the road. It feels like a real community here. We just do our bit.
