Our place is over on Chettiyar Agaram Road in Sivanootham Village. If you know where the fish market in Vanagaram is, you can find us pretty easily because we're right near there. It’s a bit of a dusty area with all the traffic, but it works for what we do. We handle wood coatings and finishes. It’s messy work sometimes. We have drums and cans stacked up all over the shop floor. People come to us when they are building furniture or fixing up their houses. Wood needs protection or it just won't last in this weather. We spend most of our time moving stock around or talking to painters who know exactly what they need. It isn't a showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a working warehouse where things get done. We’ve been in this part of Vanagaram for a bit now. You get used to the smell of the market nearby and the noise of the trucks. Sometimes we run out of a specific type of finish and have to wait for the next delivery, but that's life. We just try to keep enough on hand for the regulars. Most of the guys working here have been around since we opened. We know which coatings work better for different types of timber. It’s not complicated, just honest work.
