A1 Interior

Our shop is over in Millinum Town, which is in the Adhayalampattu part of Vanagaram. We do interior work, mostly woodwork and cupboards for houses. It’s a dusty job. We have saws and wood pieces everywhere. My dad started doing this and I just sort of took over. We aren't doing those luxury magazines looks; we just make stuff that fits in your room and lasts a long time. People come to us when they need a new kitchen cabinet or a wardrobe. We go to their houses, take measurements, and then come back here to cut the wood. Sometimes the measurements are tricky because walls are never perfectly straight. We just adjust as we go. The workshop at number 158 is where we spend most of our day. It’s hot in the summer, but we have a big fan. We don't have a salesperson. You just talk to me or my brother. We use decent materials that we get from a supplier nearby. It’s a basic business. We work hard and try not to make too much noise for the neighbors. Sometimes we finish late if a project needs to be done. We’ve been in Vanagaram for quite some time. It’s a good place to work because everyone is building something new around here. We just want to make things that people find useful in their homes without making things complicated or too expensive. We just focus on getting the job done right the first time so we don't have to come back to fix it.
