Vamana & Co.

Our business, Vamana & Co., is tucked away at No. 53 in Nesamani Nagar. This is on the 1st Main Road in the Perumbakkam area. We chose this spot because it isn't as loud as the city center, though it is getting busier lately. The office is just a simple room with a few tables and some chairs that we’ve had for years. We don't have any big signs or bright lights out front. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking past. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly paperwork and making sure our records are right. It’s a lot of sitting and focused work. We don't have a kitchen, so we usually bring our lunch from home and eat at our desks. Sometimes we go for a walk down the street just to get some fresh air. The neighborhood is quiet enough that you can actually hear the birds sometimes. We aren't trying to grow into some massive firm. We just want to stay small and do a decent job for the people we work with. There are no fancy meetings or long speeches here. We just talk to each other and figure out what needs to happen next. It’s a practical way to live and work. We’ve been here long enough that the place feels like a second home to all of us.
