Vaibhav Coaching Centre

You can find us over at Vaibhav Coaching Centre on New Fire Wood Bank Street. We are in Triplicane, which is always a busy part of Chennai. Being near the Parthasarthy Temple means there is always something going on nearby. You can often hear the temple bells or the crowds during festival times. Our space is at No 14. It is a simple building with narrow stairs that lead up to our rooms. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The rooms are filled with benches that have been around since we started. It gets a bit cramped when a full group arrives, but everyone manages to find a seat. We do not use any fancy technology, just chalkboards and some printed notes we keep in old folders. The street outside is narrow and can get blocked with bikes, so most people just walk here. We have a small area where students leave their shoes before coming in. It is a very local kind of place. We know the shopkeepers nearby and often see the same faces every day. It feels very connected to the neighborhood. There is no air conditioning, just the ceiling fans that hum all day long. We keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through from the coast. It is just a straightforward place for studying without any extra frills or expensive equipment that you see in big city institutes.
