Vaas Industries Private Limited is situated at Plot No. 73 in the Industrial Estate in Perungudi. Perungudi is a busy hub, and being in the estate means we’re surrounded by other people who are also focused on manufacturing and logistics. Our plot is a good size for what we do, giving us enough room for the machines and the loading area. It’s not a glamorous place by any means. There’s a lot of grey concrete and the sound of heavy engines is pretty much constant. But for us, it’s where the real work happens. We start early when the air is still a bit cool and try to get the heaviest tasks done before the midday heat hits the workshop. The team here is mostly local folks who have been in the industry for a long time. We don't have many meetings or long discussions about strategy. Usually, we just look at the schedule and get to it. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend a few hours fixing it ourselves, which is just part of the job. We like being in Perungudi because it’s easy for trucks to get in and out, which is vital for what we do. It’s a straightforward business built on showing up and putting in the hours every single week.
