Our place is at No.5, Mahalakshmi Flats on Rangappa Street. It’s in Aynavaram, Chennai 23. This is where Va Tech Wabag Ltd. operates from in this part of the city. It’s an older building, and it definitely feels like it sometimes when the fans are humming. Being in a flat means it’s a bit tight for space, but we make it work for the whole team. We have our desks set up in the rooms and we just get on with things. It’s not a big glass tower like the ones in the IT parks. Just a regular street in Chennai where people live and go about their business. We see the same faces every day when we go out for lunch or a break. The traffic on Rangappa Street can get a bit much during the morning rush, but that’s just how it is in this city. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing fancy speeches for us. We just do the jobs that come in. It’s a small operation for Va Tech Wabag Ltd. but we keep ourselves busy. Most of us have been here a while and know each other’s habits. We know where to get the good tea nearby and which days the office is going to be loud. It’s a very normal office life. No fancy slogans, just the daily grind in Aynavaram.
