V. S. Vents

We've been here in Madhavaram for a while now. The workshop is over at Plot 47 on Second Street in Thirumurugan Nagar. It’s not a huge place, but it gets the job done for the vents we make. Some days it gets pretty loud with the machines running. We started out just doing small jobs for people nearby. Now we handle a bit more. Usually, one of us is around if you drop by, but it's better to call because sometimes we are out at a site or picking up materials. Dealing with air and vents means a lot of measuring and cutting metal. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the scrap piles up. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. The neighborhood knows us well enough. Most of the guys working here live quite close, so we don't have long commutes. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that, just a desk and some chairs near the front door. We spend most of the time on the floor anyway. It’s dusty work, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the street. We’ve had the same sign out front for ages. If you find yourself in Thirumurugan Nagar, you'll see us. It’s a straightforward business. We make the vents, people buy them, and we move on to the next order. Nothing too complicated about it. We just keep our heads down and get through the work every day.
