V. A. S. Noorullah & Co.

Periamet has a lot of history with leather and trade, and V. A. S. Noorullah & Co. is part of that history at 47, Wuthucattan Street. Our building is quite old, and it has that specific smell of dust and old ledgers. We do not have air conditioning in every single room, so we usually keep the windows wide open. You can hear the street noise all day long. We do a lot of counting and sorting. It is the kind of work that makes your hands a bit dirty by the time you go home. We are not a corporate setup with fancy slogans or logos. We just have a few desks, some chairs, and a lot of things to ship out. Sometimes we sit on the wooden crates when we get tired. We have known the guys at the other shops on Wuthucattan Street for decades. We help each other out if someone needs a hand moving something heavy or loading a truck. We do not do things the modern way all the time. If an old ledger works, we use it. We check the shipments very carefully because we do not like getting complaints later. It is a straightforward business. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. It has been the same routine for a long time. We do not have a big sign out front, just the number 47 on the wall.
