We are located at Vantage Plaza on L.B. Road in Thiruvanmiyur. Our office is on the first floor, unit 1F. UVIX Ventures is a one-person company, though we have a couple of people who help out with the day-to-day stuff. Thiruvanmiyur is a great part of Chennai to be in, especially being so close to the beach, even if we are usually too busy to go there. Being in a plaza means there are always other businesses around and people coming and going. The office isn't very big, but it has everything we need to run our ventures. We do a lot of research and spend hours on the computer looking at different projects. L.B. Road is always humming with traffic, so there is a constant background noise of cars and buses. We don't have a big staff or a corporate hierarchy. It is just about getting the work done and seeing how we can make our projects move forward. We often have meetings in the small cafe downstairs because it is easier than cramming everyone into our little office. We focus on being practical and honest about what we can do. It is a simple operation and we like it that way because it keeps our overheads low and our focus sharp. We have been here for a while now and most of the other shop owners in the plaza know us by name.
