Our building is a practical space where we handle all the work related to leather garments. It’s not a showroom with bright lights; it’s more of a place where things actually get done. We spend a lot of time checking materials and making sure the pieces are cut and stitched the way they need to be. There’s always that specific smell of leather in the air here, which you get used to after a while. Most of us have been working in this trade for a long time, so it feels natural. We don't spend much time on fancy websites or big speeches. We just focus on the orders that come in and try to get them finished on time. The heat in Madhavaram can be something else during the summer months, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. It’s a lot of manual work and paying attention to small details that others might miss. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we always find a way to get back to it once things are running again.
