You can find Usha Decors right on Dr Alagappa Road in Purasaiwalkam. We are at No 58, which is now New No 112, just across from the Dev Darshan Apartments. It’s a busy little stretch of road. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, surrounded by rolls of fabric, wallpaper, and all the things people use to make their houses look a bit different. It’s not a polished corporate office. It’s a working shop. Sometimes things are a bit cluttered because we get new shipments in and have to find a spot for everything. We talk to people who come in looking for ideas for their living rooms or bedrooms. We don’t use a lot of fancy design terms. If a fabric looks good and feels tough, we say so. Purasaiwalkam is a lively neighborhood, and we like being right in the middle of it. Our neighbors know us, and we know them. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and look around without anyone hovering over you too much. We do our best to keep things simple. If someone needs help measuring something or picking a color, one of us is usually around. We just want to make sure people get what they need for their homes without any fuss. It’s a decent way to spend the day.
