Urology Speciality Clinic

Our clinic is over at 13 5th street in the Bakthavatchalam Nagar area of Adyar. It’s a pretty simple setup we have here. Every morning, one of us gets here early to open the shutters and sweep the front step before the first patients show up. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it stays relatively quiet, though you can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open. We’ve been working out of this spot for a good while now. Inside, there’s a small waiting room with a few plastic chairs and a desk where we keep the patient files. It’s not the fanciest place in Chennai, but it serves the purpose for what we do. Most of the people who come in live nearby or have been told to see us for urology issues. We spend a lot of time talking to folks about their symptoms and writing out prescriptions or looking at test results. There is no big corporate team here, just a couple of us doing the daily work. Sometimes the printer jams or the water cooler runs out, and we have to fix it ourselves. It’s just how a local clinic runs. We try to be practical and get everyone seen in a decent amount of time without making a big fuss about things. That is just how the day goes here. Usually, we wrap things up by early evening and head home.
