Ultra Tech Cement Ltd

In Chennai, our Ultra Tech Cement Ltd office is located at F4, Umayal Illam. We are on Sunderesa Iyer Street in Venkatapuram, which is part of the Ambattur area. It feels more like a house than a big business building, which is quite common around here. We are on the first floor. The street is usually narrow and lined with trees, so it stays a bit cooler than the main roads. We deal with a lot of local contractors who are working on houses in the Ambattur neighborhood. The office itself is just a few rooms with old wooden desks and plenty of paper files. We don't use much fancy tech, just what we need to get the orders through. Sometimes the neighborhood kids are playing cricket outside on the street, and we have to be careful when the delivery vans are pulling in. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except for when the cement is being moved. We have a small balcony where we take breaks. The fans hum all day to keep the Chennai heat at bay. Most of the people who work here have been with the company for a long time. We know the local tea shop owner and the guys at the hardware store down the road. It’s just a regular part of the community here in Venkatapuram, nothing flashy about it at all. Chennai-53 is where you’ll find our little spot.
