We are U C Gulecha & Co. Our office is at number 4 on Murugappan Street in the Sowcarpet area. It is quite easy to find if you know where the Elephant Gate Police Station is. We are very close to that landmark. Sowcarpet is a place where every street looks the same if you are not careful. Our building is nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our desks and chairs and the usual office stuff you would expect. It gets very hot in Chennai, so we are always glad for the shade the building provides. The street is narrow and you have to watch out for the bikes and carts moving past our door. We have been here for a good while. Most of the people around here know us by name now. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and do our work until it is time to go home. Sometimes we stand outside for a bit of air when it gets too stuffy inside the room. The 600001 area is always rushing. We are just a small part of that. We do our own filing and handle the phones ourselves. It is a basic setup, but it serves the purpose for us. If you are looking for us, just ask someone near the police station and they will point you the right way.
