Our office is on the ground floor of a building on South West Boag Road. T Nagar is a very hectic place, but our street is slightly tucked away from the main shopping crowds. Tso Design Commune Pvt Ltd operates out of New No 16, which used to be Old No 42. People often get confused by the numbers, but they find us eventually. We don't have a big storefront or anything like that. It’s just a ground-floor space where we keep all our design equipment. The room is often a bit messy with samples and swatches lying around. We don't spend money on making the office look perfect. We’d rather just focus on the projects we have. There are a few of us here every day, usually working through lunch. We have a small kettle for tea and some basic furniture. It’s not the kind of place with a mission statement on the wall. We just come in, do the drawings, and talk to clients. The traffic outside can be quite loud, especially in the evenings. We’ve grown used to the buzz of T Nagar. It’s a very local way of working. No polish, no corporate talk, just a bunch of people trying to make designs happen. It’s a decent place to spend our working hours.
