Triway Container Freight Station

Triway Container Freight Station has a couple of different addresses. Our permanent one is 23C/3 Jagannath Ghosh Road in Kolkata, but these days you’ll mostly find us at the Triway CFS Ltd office on Jaffer Street in Chennai. It’s a bit of a jump between the two cities, but that’s the nature of the freight business. In Chennai, the heat is something else, and we spend a lot of time down at the yard dealing with containers. It’s heavy, dirty work and it isn't for everyone. We have to keep track of a lot of moving parts. The office at 600001 is where the main paperwork happens. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or a big reception area. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and people trying to coordinate the movement of big metal boxes. We’ve been doing this for a while and we’ve seen all sorts of delays and problems, so nothing really surprises us anymore. We don't use any complicated jargon to explain what we do. We just handle the containers and make sure they are where they need to be. Whether we are thinking about our roots in Kolkata or working the docks in Chennai, the goal is just to keep the flow of goods moving along. It’s a practical business run by people who aren't afraid to get their hands a bit dirty or deal with the docks.
