Triplicane is such a crowded place. Our office is at No. 259, on the 1st Floor on TH Road. It’s right in the middle of all that Triplicane energy. You have to walk up the stairs and it’s usually quite loud with the buses and bikes going past on the main road. We handle a lot of international export work from this small space. Rejaputhra International Exports isn't a massive company with hundreds of workers. It's just a few of us making sure everything is documented right. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the floor gets dusty pretty fast because of the road outside. But we like it here. There is a specific rhythm to TH Road that you get used to after a few months. We spend our mornings sorting through emails and our afternoons dealing with logistics. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow or the power cuts out for a minute, but we just wait it out and get back to work. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don’t use big fancy words or have meetings that last for hours. We just talk to people, fill out the forms, and make sure the goods are on their way. It’s simple, really. If you come by, you’ll see we are just busy with the daily grind of moving things across borders from this little spot in Chennai. It’s nothing special, just our work.
