Travel World

Our shop is on the ground floor at No. 81 Peters Road, which some people still call Old No. 61. We are in the Royapettah area, right in Shop G-6. It’s a small place, mostly filled with desks, computers, and stacks of travel brochures that sometimes get a little out of order. We handle a lot of different things here, like booking tickets and helping people figure out their travel plans. Peters Road is always moving, so there is a constant hum of cars and buses outside our window. We’ve been here for a while, and the office has that lived-in feel to it. It’s not one of those modern, sleek travel agencies you see in the fancy malls. We have our old files and a few chairs for people to sit on while we look up flight timings or visa details. Sometimes the internet is slow, or the phone won't stop ringing, but we just take it one task at a time. Most of our regulars are folks from around the neighborhood who prefer talking to a real person instead of using a website. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the ropes. It’s a straightforward job, helping people get from one place to another without too much fuss. We just keep our heads down and work through the daily pile of requests that come in from people planning their next trips.
