Trainee

We are located over on Vannier Street in the Padi area of Chennai. It’s 125/B, a small spot right in the heart of a very busy neighborhood. Padi is known for being quite industrial and crowded, so there is always a lot of activity outside our door. Being a trainee here means you get used to the humidity and the sound of motorcycles zipping past all day long. The office is basically one big room where we all sit and do our work. It’s not very formal. We often have lunch together at our desks or go to the small mess nearby for some rice and sambar. The power goes out once in a while, but we have a backup and we just keep going. We handle a lot of the basic learning and work tasks that come with being a small firm in Chennai. The address isn't hard to find if you know the landmark of the main road, but the side streets can be a bit of a maze. We’ve been here for a while and the people on Vannier Street all know each other. It’s a decent place to work if you don’t mind a bit of clutter and a lot of heat. We just try to get through the pile of work on our desks and make sure the trainees are picking up the right skills as they go along. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy and connected to the city.
