Touch Shipping Agency is located at the old number 107 and 108, which is now 21 and 22, on Armenian Street in Parrys. If you know the area, you know it’s right near the High Court, so it’s always very crowded and full of energy. The streets around here are narrow and old, and finding a place to park is almost impossible most days. Our office is tucked away in one of these older buildings. It has high ceilings and big windows that let in a lot of dust from the street. We’ve been working from this spot for quite a while now. The day usually involves a lot of paperwork related to ships and cargo. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the port or with customs people. It’s a lot of back and forth, and sometimes things get stuck for reasons nobody really understands. We just keep pushing through the files. We have a small crew here, and we all know how to do a bit of everything. The noise from the market outside is something you just get used to after a week or two. We usually grab lunch from one of the small shops nearby. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don’t have any fancy carpets or expensive furniture. It’s just a place of business where we try to keep things moving through the port as best as we can.
