Toshniwal Hyvac Pvt. Ltd. is situated at 267, Kilpauk Gardens Road. It’s a nice enough area, and we’ve been here for a good number of years. We deal with high vacuum equipment and related machinery. It’s specialized work, but for us, it’s just the daily routine. The office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s practical, with old desks and lots of technical manuals stacked up. We have a small team of engineers and office staff. Most of our time is spent looking at blueprints or checking on production schedules. We don't really do the whole corporate polish thing. We’re more likely to have grease on our hands than wear a tie. Kilpauk Gardens Road is a decent place to work. It’s got some trees and it’s not as chaotic as some other parts of the city. You can hear the birds in the morning if it's quiet enough. We have a lot of long-term employees who have been with us since the beginning. We just show up, do the engineering work, and try to keep things running smoothly. There aren't many bells and whistles here. We don't go for making things sound more complicated than they are. We just build and sell vacuum systems. If someone has a problem, they call us, and we talk to them like normal people. It’s worked for us so far, so we just keep doing it. The tea lady comes by at four, and that’s usually the highlight.
