Tms Yoga & Arts Centre is tucked away on 9th Main Road in Dhandeeswaram Nagar. If you find the road opposite Olympic Cards in Velacheri, you are pretty much there at number 6. We have been running this place in Chennai for a good while. It is a mix of things here, from yoga mats on the floor to art supplies in the corner. We aren't a big gym or a fancy gallery. It is just a local spot where people come to move a bit or paint something. Mornings are usually quiet with the yoga sessions, and then the arts side of things picks up later. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it feels quite calm compared to the main Velacheri roads. We have some regular folks who have been coming since we opened. There is always a bit of dust from the chalk or some paint smells in the air, but that is just how it is. We didn't want a shiny corporate office, just a room that works for what we do. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, but nobody seems to mind once they get started. We manage the schedules ourselves and try to keep things flexible. It’s a small team here. We just like having a space where these things can happen. If you are walking around Dhandeeswaram Nagar, you might hear us or see the sign. It’s a simple, honest place for the community.
