Tjk Ventures Private Limited is located over in Mahalingapuram, Nungambakkam. The address is a bit confusing because it has a New No 4 and an Old No 3, but it’s on Palat Mahadevan Road. It’s an older part of the city with some nice trees around, which we like. The office itself is nothing too special. We have a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of charging cables running across the floor. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when we’re in the middle of a big project. We’re just regular people trying to keep this thing running. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and looking at our screens. Nungambakkam is a busy area, so there’s always something going on outside. We like being centrally located because it’s easier for everyone to get to. The building has that old Chennai charm, even if the pipes groan a little sometimes. We don’t really go in for fancy titles or anything like that. If something needs doing, whoever is free just grabs it. It’s a very hands-on way of working. Most days we’re just grinding away, trying to keep our heads above water with all the paperwork. It’s not always easy, but it’s our own thing. We’ve been here long enough that the security guard knows our names and how we like our tea.
