If you head down Kodambakkam Road in West Mambalam, you’ll find us on the 2nd floor at 102/75. Tinsel Technologies is tucked away in this busy part of Chennai. West Mambalam is always crowded, and the walk to the office usually involves dodging a few scooters or finding a gap in the traffic. Once you get up to the second floor, it’s a bit quieter. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of people; we’re just a group working on tech projects and trying to keep things running smoothly. The office has big windows, but mostly we’re looking at our screens. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so the fans or the AC are always going. We don’t have fancy furniture, just sturdy desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use. We spend our time writing code, fixing bugs, and talking about how to make the next version of a project work better. Sometimes we go out for tea at the stall nearby when we need a break from the monitors. It’s a practical place. We don't have a marketing team or people to write polished speeches. It’s just us doing the work that comes in. The neighborhood is full of shops and old houses, which gives it a nice character compared to the sterile IT parks elsewhere. We like being here because it feels real and connected to the city.
