Hs Engine Service

Our workshop is down at No. 13 Kuttai Street in Thiruvanmiyur. It’s a small street and we are right there in the middle of it. If you come by, you’ll probably see some engines taken apart and tools spread across the work area. We deal with engine services, so our hands are usually covered in grease by ten in the morning. Thiruvanmiyur is a nice place to be, and Kuttai Street has a bit of a local, lived-in feel to it. We don't have a waiting room with AC or anything like that. Usually, people just drop off their stuff and we tell them when to come back. The floor is stained with oil, which is pretty much expected in our line of work. We’ve got a couple of fans to keep the air moving, but it still gets quite warm. We listen to the radio sometimes while we work, just to have some background noise over the sound of the tools. It’s a simple life here, just fixing what’s broken and making sure things run again. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just show up, do the work at our benches, and close up when we're done. There's a tea stall just a few doors down where we get our morning chai. It’s part of the daily routine that keeps us going through the tougher repairs. No. 13 is where you’ll find us most days.
