Vaiyam Exports

At Vaiyam Exports, we operate out of No. 541 on the 3rd Main Road in Gomathipuram. Being in Uttam Nagar means we are close to everything we need, but it still has a bit of a local feel. Our day usually starts early, before the traffic on the main road gets too bad. We spend most of our time in the back room where we keep the records and handle the logistics. It’s not a fancy setup, just some sturdy tables and chairs and plenty of coffee to keep us going. We’ve had the same small crew for a while, so we all know how the other person works. There isn't much formality here. We just get the tasks done as they come in. If a shipment is delayed, we spend the afternoon on the phone trying to track it down. It can be frustrating, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t put up big advertisements or try to look bigger than we are. People find us through word of mouth or by just walking past the building. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the door squeaks a bit, but it’s our space and it works for what we need. We handle a variety of items, and every day brings something a little different to the table. It’s steady work, and we’re happy to be doing it right here in the neighborhood without any corporate pressure.
