Kagan Constructions

Kagan Constructions is based out of Chrompet, right on Thiruneermalai Main Road. We are at number 57, which is very close to the Star Weigh Bridge in the Nagalkeni area. If you are driving down that road, you can’t miss all the heavy trucks going to the weigh bridge. We spend most of our time out on sites, but this is where we keep our tools and do the planning. Our office isn't anything special. It has some old desks, a lot of blueprints rolled up in corners, and usually a bit of dust from the road. We have been doing building work and renovations around this part of Chennai for quite some time. We know the local soil and the weather challenges here. It’s not always easy work. Sometimes a project hits a snag or the materials show up late, and we just have to deal with it. We don't have a team of guys in suits. Usually, it's just us in our work boots talking to the laborers or the suppliers. People come by the office to talk about their house plans or to see if we can fix a wall. We try to be straightforward with everyone. If a job is too big for us or if the timing isn't right, we just say so. It’s a busy life with a lot of phone calls and driving between sites. We like seeing a building actually come together.
