Sri Selvavinayaga Industries

We are located at T-179 in the Women’s Industrial Estate over in Kattur. Thirumullaivoil is the general area. It is a place where you expect to hear the sound of metal and machines. Sri Selvavinayaga Industries is just one of many small units here. We have a fairly basic setup with some old machines that have been with us since we started. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots here and there. We spend our days handling whatever orders come through. It might be small parts or larger components, depending on the week. The industrial estate is a community of its own. We know the people in the next unit and sometimes we borrow tools from each other. There isn't a front desk or anyone to answer the door in a suit. You just walk in past the gate and find us at the back. The heat can get pretty bad under the industrial roof in May, so we have a few big fans that mostly just move the warm air around. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything like that. People just know we are here at T-179 and they come to us when they need something made. It is just regular daily work for us. We clean up at the end of the day, lock the gates, and head home to Thirumullaivoil. It is a lot of work but it keeps us going.
