Cortica Mfg (I) Pvt. Ltd.

Our place is located in the Sidco Industrial Estate out in Thirumazhisai. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but being in the industrial zone makes sense for the kind of manufacturing we do at Cortica Mfg (I) Pvt. Ltd. We are right next to Sankar NP Japan Private Limited, so you can’t really miss the building once you’re in the estate. The floor is usually busy with the sound of machines and the smell of whatever materials we’re working with that day. We have a lot of space here at number 105, which helps because the raw materials take up quite a bit of room. Most of our staff have been coming here for years, and they know the equipment better than anyone. We don’t spend much time in the front office unless we’re dealing with the logistics of shipping stuff out. The estate can be quite dusty, especially when the big trucks are moving through the narrow lanes. Usually, we have a lunch break where everyone sits together, and then it’s back to the production line until the evening shift ends. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or modern art on the walls. It’s just a factory where things get made, packed, and loaded onto trucks. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, but that’s just part of running a shop in an industrial area like this.
