Thirumalai Tours & Hospitality Services

We are based at No 50/38 on Venkatarama Street in the 600001 area of Chennai. Thirumalai Tours & Hospitality Services isn't a huge operation. It’s mostly just us handling travel bookings and helping people find places to stay when they come into the city for work or family visits. The street outside can get pretty narrow and crowded, which is typical for this part of town. We’ve been in this building for some time now. Inside, it’s mostly just desks covered in papers and a few old calendars on the walls. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive office furniture. Most of our work happens over the phone or through word of mouth from people who live around here. We handle a mix of things, from booking local taxis to helping with hotel rooms nearby. It can get a bit confusing when multiple people call at once, but we just write everything down on our pads and get to it. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to get things done. Sometimes we stay late when a group is arriving or if there's a problem with a booking. It’s just how we work. We don't make big promises, we just try to help out whoever walks through the door or gives us a ring on the landline. It's steady work and it keeps us connected to the neighborhood.
