The Acme Electronics

You’ll find us at NP 10, 86th Street in the Ashok Nagar area. It’s a busy little spot, and we’ve been part of this street for quite a few years now. The shop is filled with all kinds of electronic gadgets and parts. It isn't the most organized place in the world, but there is a system to the clutter. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. Most of the day is spent helping people find the right components or testing out new stock that just arrived. We don't have a team of salesmen in suits. It’s just a few of us who know a thing or two about electronics. We often stay a bit late to finish up inventory or help a neighbor with a tricky problem. The light on the 86th street corner can be a bit dim at night, but our sign usually stays lit. We get a lot of regulars who come by just to see what’s new or to chat for a bit. We don't bother with fancy brochures. If someone wants to know about a product, we just pull it out of the box and show them. It’s a very hands-on way of working. The neighborhood has grown a lot since we first opened, but the atmosphere in the shop hasn't changed much. We like the simple, everyday nature of what we do here. There’s always someone coming in for a chat or a specific cable, and that really keeps us going through the week.
