Bafna Industries India is located at No. 44 Thambu Chetty Street. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know how packed it gets with all the shops and people moving around. Our place is one of those old-style buildings where we keep all our industrial supplies and parts. It’s a bit dark inside because the street is so narrow and the buildings are tall, but we’ve got plenty of lights. We spend the day counting out items, packing them into boxes, and talking to the folks who come in looking for something specific. Thambu Chetty Street has a lot of history and we’ve been here for a good chunk of it. There is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the horns. Our shelves are stacked all the way to the ceiling, and we have a few old ladders to get to the things at the top. It’s not a modern showroom; it’s a working warehouse where things actually happen. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the shop looks as long as we can find the parts when someone needs them. Usually, one of us is standing near the front door watching the street while waiting for the next customer. It’s a busy life here in this part of town, but it’s what we know and we've done it for many years now.
