Our office is right on the first floor at No. 250A on the main Poonamallee High Road in Aminjikarai. If you know Chennai, you know how busy this stretch of road gets at almost any hour of the day. TFB Consultancy started because some of us had been working in this field for years and wanted to do our own thing without all the corporate red tape. The building is an older one, but it works for what we need. We handle a lot of different consulting tasks, mostly helping folks figure out the messy parts of their business operations. You can hear the buses and horns from the street below while we work, but you get used to it after a week or two. It is not a big team, just a handful of people who know their stuff. We do not have any fancy brochures or a marketing team telling us what to say. We just answer the phone, deal with the paperwork, and try to give honest advice to anyone who walks through the door. Most days we are just buried under piles of documents or staring at our monitors. We take our tea breaks at the small stall around the corner. It is a practical setup for people who just want to get work done. We have been in this Aminjikarai spot for a bit now and it feels like home to us.
