You can find Amraa Intex at 54 K B Dasan Salai. We have been at this location for quite a few years. Our business is all about textiles and interior materials. The shop is right on the street, so we get a lot of noise from the cars and buses passing by. Inside, it is a bit more peaceful. We have rolls of fabric leaning against the walls and books of samples on the tables. It is not a very modern place. We still use a lot of paper for our receipts and keep our notes in big ledgers. We think it is easier that way. Customers come in looking for something specific for their homes, like curtains or upholstery. We spend time showing them different options and explaining how the materials feel. We are not salespeople who try to push things on you. We just show you what we have and let you decide. Sometimes the place gets a bit disorganized when we have a lot of new stock coming in at once. We are just a small group of people who know a lot about cloth. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything. It is just us here every day, helping people pick out what they need and making sure the orders are cut correctly. It is a decent way to earn a living and we enjoy talking to the people who walk in off the street.
