We are located at 19 Marshalls Road in Egmore. Texon Industries has been operating out of this specific building for a long time. Egmore is a very busy part of the city, so there is always some kind of noise or activity going on outside our windows. Inside, it is mostly just us keeping track of orders and making sure the production side of things is staying on schedule. The office has that old-school feel to it, with heavy wooden desks and stacks of ledgers everywhere. We haven't really changed much over the years because the current setup seems to work for everyone. Sometimes the ceiling fans are a bit noisy in the heat, but we don't mind it much. We deal with industrial supplies, and it involves a lot of back-and-forth communication with different vendors and customers. It is not a particularly glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. We have a few long-term employees who have been here since the business first started. We usually eat our lunch together in the small break area in the back. The traffic on Marshalls Road can be a real headache during the rush hour, so we try to time our movements and deliveries carefully. We don't have any big signs or bright neon lights outside. Just a small metal plate with the name on the door. It is a quiet enough place once you get inside. We just focus on the paperwork and the logistics of the industry.
