You can find us at S 2 in the Nissan Supplier Park over in Oragadam. It’s a massive area and Tenneco Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. is right in the middle of all that industrial action. Working here means getting used to the scale of everything. The buildings are huge and the roads are built for big trucks. Inside our facility, it’s all about the rhythm of the machines. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s an organized kind of chaos. We’ve got teams working different shifts, so the building rarely feels empty. There’s a lot of metal and specialized equipment around us all day long. Oragadam can be a bit isolated if you’re used to the city, but out here, it’s all about getting the automotive parts ready. We aren't big on talking about our "values" or stuff like that; we just focus on the parts on the line. The break room is where we mostly end up chatting about our families or the commute, which can be a real pain depending on the traffic. It’s a long day for most of us, but that’s the nature of this kind of work. We’ve been here at the supplier park for a while now, and we’ve seen it grow quite a bit. It’s just a place where we come to work, do our bit for the cars being built nearby, and then head home. It is a noisy, busy place but we are used to it by now.
